First day in sunny California

In January I started feeling a little better and wanted to get out of bed and get some sunshine. We convinced the Ipsens to go on a roadtrip to California with us. We had a great trip and I came home with a much better outlook on life and thinking that maybe I could handle being pregnant for a few more months. The Ipsen kids had never been to In N Out, so we stopped for lunch and met Grandma and Grandpa Skaggs to deliver their new puppies to them.

We went Newport Beach to go tide pooling. Grayson is getting ready to stick his finger in an anemone.

This picture has a sad story with it. Mylee really wanted to get her picture with Mickey Mouse. Just as it was our turn to get a picture she started dancing and had to go potty REALLY bad. Scott took her to the bathroom and was gone about 1 minute. By the time they got back the picture was done and no one wanted to waitfor her to go through the line again. Poor girl had to get her picture taken with Mickey's mailbox instead. We still feel guilty about that one.

A great day at Huntington Beach

Mylee dug a cool hole that she was chillin' in.

Sawyer was afraid of the ocean, so he had to be held if you got to close to the water.

Our day at Sea World

Mylee has a picture of her holding a starfish that was taken when we went to Sea World when she was one, so she wanted to make sure she had the same picture taken on this trip:)

After a day at sea world we headed to Mission Beach. Kadee was so sad to leave sunny CA and just wanted to see the ocean one more time.
